I purchased this camera new. It has been a wonderful travelingcamera and have taken it across the country.  It has experienced  saltwater,  rivers, rain, sand high and low altitudes, snow and 100+ temperatures.   It has traveled from florida to wyoming and home again. That is why i bought this beast.  But...

My question is for any  stylus sw owner...

Has anyone experienced the camera cycling through settings on its own? On occasion, the function setting pretty much does what it feels and then anybutton can lead to any buttons location.  sometimes shaking helps.

I have to be honest that I don't own an Olympus Stylus SW series camera, but I can say that if shaking your camera helps to temporarily resolve your issue that should mean that something is loose inside your camera and you should have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. If your camera is less than a year old the repair should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, but if you purchased it more than a year ago the repair would be at cost to you. I would contact Olympus to arrange for service on your camera. I hope this helps!
