Is any one elses camera take dark images, if so how did you fix it. It was fresh out of the box taking blurry and dark photos, even with the flash on... is this a defect or can someone tell me how to change the resolution, which i have tried but i dont know much about it to make it correct.

I NEED OF HELP ASAP.

Im very disappointed in the camera and would love to make it everything id hoped for in my xmas gift from my mom

Hmm....

• are the batteries fully charged?
• do you have the camera set to "under expose"?
• what happens if you view the pictures on the computer?  Could the LCD brightness set to be "low"?
• are you spot exposuring?
• does the manual say anything about a factory reset?

Otherwise, yes take the camera back to the store and check with a sales rep.
