fujifilm was supposes to come out with a new camera, the z900exr, in may 2011. any idea when best buy will sell it and the price when it becomes available?

No one at Best Buy who writes on these boards will know the answer to that question, nor anyone via the 1-888-BEST-BUY number. When a product is ready to be released officially, information will become available on the website via a 'coming soon' message on the product listing itself.

Best Buy's policy, as it has been explained to me, is not to speak about a product until they are 100% certain they will have enough inventory to sell it, in most circumstances. So it may be a matter of them negotiating with the manufacturer to see how many they can get, if they can get enough. Until they are certain, they won't say a word.
