I hate to sound like a broken record, but we would not be able comment on the specifics of when we will be carrying this model. The best I can say is that I have been informed that we do plan on carrying this camera.

I'm gonna have to go with Sony directly if this doesn't change in about a month.

I have enough money saved for the camera but I still need to save for the accessories. If get enough together for the jump and were not stocking it yet, I'm gonna have to get it from elsewhere.

It's now in stock at the Sony Store online, and at many other places. Fresh stock has obviously arrived in the US. And still nothing from our largest electronics retailer? You guys have got a week, then I'm buying elsewhere. This really shouldn't be very difficult. Seriously.

Sorry, but Sony won, it is sitting next to me as we speak, and wow, what a camera. The 16-50 kit lens is also amazing, calling it a "kit lens" is laughable, its a $700 lens on it own, SSM, constant 2.8, its the best.

Anyway, despair not BB, I still need a long zoom lens, so the 70-300 or 70-400 G lens will get some of my BB card instead, hehe.

It is in stock on Sony's site now....any inidcation that it will be available at Best Buy sooner than later?   I am surprised there is not even a SKU online makred out of stock or something.

Why isn't Best Buy carrying the A77 model from Sony?  I'm looking to get one and I'd like to get it from best buy.

Well, actually have to - store credit.
