Will BestBuy carry the new Sony Alpha A77?

If I had to guess I would say we most likely will be carrying this model, but I don't know for sure. I have reached out to the appropriate team to try and find out for you, and will post back once I have new information on this.

I did hear back on this, and we will be carrying the Sony Alpha A77. Beyond the fact that we do plan on carrying this model I wouldn't be able to be any more specific.

Other than the fact that we do plan on carrying this camera once it's available I would not be able to elaborate any further. I did look at a number of other retailers, and it seems like they don't have this in stock at this time. The best I can suggest is to keep checking back on BestBuy.com.

Any update on the Sony a77? I have my Best Buy card ready to buy it the moment Best Buy has it. I'd like to buy the kit with the 16-50mm lens, ideally. I can't believe you guys don't at least have that lens for sale yet. Its been out for months, is freely available, and is probably the best non-Zeiss/G lens Sony has ever made. I know the a77 is very scarce right now, but it worries me that its not even in the Best Buy system, even if it was currently marked "sold out". The a77 kit is a $2,000 instant sale if you guys ever get it, hehe.

Hello my name is Daniel and I am a geek squad technician at store #544 in New Jersey.

I've had my eye on the Sony A77 for a while now and I'd really like to take the jump, but I'd prefer to get it from my own company so I can support us (and also be eligible for a possible discount.)

I've noticed the A77 is on the sony website now, and is also available at numerous other retailers.

Is there any news on when we're going to carry it?  I really want to get it!

No answers or updates at all? That's really disappointing. I guess I'll just buy it direct from Sony, though I'd sure rather buy it from here
