Photoshop elements 10/Premiere elements 10

Ok, I went out and purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 10/Adobe Premiere Elements 10 in the box. Do I need to do anything special to install it? Will it work ok with my computer? I have an HP Pavillion dv7 1135nr.

It will work with your computer, but probably not very well if you're planning on doing a lot of video editing. If anything, you can install a trial version of the software from Adobe's website and see how it works for you. As opened software is not returnable, I'd make sure that it works well enough before installing the full version.

Re: Photoshop elements 10/Premiere elements 10

Thank you. I did try the trial version and it seems to work ok. I don't know how much editing work I will do, I needed something so that I could veiw my video, as what was on my computer didn't work with the form that the camera captures.

Do I need to do anything special when downloading?  I currrently have Photoshop elements 7 on my computer, can I have more than one version and still use them both?

Usually if you click on the Help menu, there's an option to add a license number to activate your trial version.

However, if you uninstall your trial version. Reboot the computer. Then go through the install with the disks, you might find bonus features (transitions? Clipart?) that is not part of the trial version.

Sorry I'm not using that version, so I cannot give you exact information.
