Hey,
Even though I am a Canon shooter I have always been impressed with Nikon's product line, and the fact that they don't jump on the latest technology before it's developed (much like Canon). With the release of the Nikon 1 compact system camera I guess Nikon believes that this type of camera is here to stay.
I was surprised that the Nikon 1 is using a sensor that is smaller than the APS-C sensor used in Sony's NEX cameras, but from what I have read it's for a good reason. From looking at images of this camera system it looks like it will live up to the historic standards of Nikon, and can't wait to try one out. Just wondering what anyone else thinks about this system and compact system cameras in general.
