While I was in Washington D.C., my camera was dropped and the lens got tilted. That had happened before, so I just tried to force it back into place, but it didnt help, so I turned off the camera. WORST MISTAKE EVER! Somehow, the different pieces that jut out of the lens got all messed up. The outer one is higher than the rest, the next one is the lowest, and the middle one with the actual lens part is the middle height. Can the camera be fixed? And if so, what is the price range?
Here is a picture of the damage:

Hi candycraze241,
Your camera should be able to be repaired but the price would really depend on the extent of the damage, the cost of any parts that need to be replaced, and the cost of the labor involved. You could bring the camera to a Geek Squad® precinct in your local Best Buy® store or you could contact Nikon to arrange for service on your camera. With that being said the cost of repairing your camera could exceed the value of your camera, and you might be better off purchasing a new camera.
I hope this helps,
Allan
