Re: Kodak M1033

Hi theintimmidator,

According to the manufacturer if your camera turns on and then quickly turns off you should first try removing the batteries and then clean the battery contacts inside the camera with a clean dry clothe, and if this doesn't work they suggest trying a new set of batteries. If the camera still has the problem the manufacturer then suggests taking the batteries out of the camera and then trying to turn the camera on while plugged in via your A/C adapter or your camera dock. If your camera works without its batteries, while plugged in, the problem is with your batteries or the battery contact. If it still doesn't work while plugged in the manufacturer suggests you have the camera looked at by a camera repair technician.

Since you just purchased the camera I would suggest exchanging the camera for a new one if you can't resolve the issue with the troubleshooting advice above. I hope this helps out!

Re: Kodak M1033

this camera was given to me as a present back in december, and since about february it will turn on make some strange noise and then cut back off and the lense stays out, could this be a battery problem or would it be the whole camera. sometimes when i press the shutter it takes a picture, do you recommend taking the camera in?
