Does Best Buy offer digital camera classes? I can't find any info on the website - I purchased a Canon Powershot XL10 IS in December and have been practicing a lot, but would really benefit from a class; I bought it mainly to capture awesome pictures of my son playing sports, so I use the sports setting a lot....

Not to my knowledge - this is something you are better off going to a dedicated photography outlet for. Unfortunately dedicated camera stores are disappearing rapidly with a few exceptions.
You can potentially look into photography classes at a local college, but be warned that these typically require the student to have an SLR camera (film or digital).
Adorama in NYC also hosts a wide variety of courses and seminars, if you live near them.

Hi sportsmom1999,
Entropy is correct that Best Buy® does not offer digital imaging classes, but we do have free camera and camcorder tutorials on BestBuy.com. These tutorials cover the basics, and if you want more advanced education I would suggest contacting a local college or community center. Entropy is also correct that most colleges would require the student to have a SLR camera, but it doesn't hurt to look; a community center is more likely not to require the student have a SLR. I hope this helps!
