Corrupted file recovery

Hello, I have an SDHC card that contains around 140 pictures and one movie on it. Twenty of these files are damaged beyond the point of recovery, but all of the rest can be viewed on the tag but when you try to open them, the programs say they are corrupted or damaged. The cause of this is unknown and the only way I was able to tell that they were there was through windows explorer and even that failed the first ten tries. How would I be able to recover these?

Re: Corrupted file recovery

There are recovery programs available. If your SDHC is a Sandisk Extreme, you should had received a cd in the box with a program called RecoveryPro. I got one with a Sandisk Extreme III I bought. If its another brand, I would say do a search for revocery programs and see if ones available. There is no guarantee that any of your data is recoverable though/.

Re: Corrupted file recovery

Wish I could. I never had to use them (knock on wood).
