Hi Mercyfulfate,
The body of this camera is made out of stainless steel, which will add some weight to it in comparison to aluminum (this would be negligible given the cameras size). I have never used this camera myself, but it has gotten very good reviews from our customer's. The only consistent criticism by our customer's is that you have to take the batter out of the camera in order to charge it. If you would like to read our customer's reviews of this camera you can read them here. I hope this helps!
Thanks for posting,

Allan, thanks a million! im glad its Stainless rather than aluminum or God forbid, plastic.lol i ordered the camera yesterday but lo and behold Best Buy uses the very unreliable UPS. i just wonder why they dont use USPS? its faster and safer. and they dont play football with the packages. i paid an extra 13$ for the expidited shipping. and then find out they uesed UPS.
thanks Allan. your info really helped.

Odd. In my experience, I've had FAR more problems with the USPS than UPS.
In over a decade, I've only had UPS play "package pong" once, back in 1998 or so with a care package sent from my parents to my college dorm.
Otherwise they've been rock solid, reliable, and quick.
USPS, on the other hand, has lost two of my rent checks in the past three years, played "package pong" on me at least twice in the past 2-3 years, and has a rudimentary tracking system that often doesn't update until the package has been delivered.
Also, in the event that you miss a signature-required delivery, UPS has evening pickup hours while the USPS requires me to use flextime to drive into town and pick up a package.
