Will Best Buy carry any of the 2010 Canon HF S series?  Preferably the HF S200.

Well, this person asked basically the same question, only for a different product, and the answer was given.  These camcorders, along with the Sony XR/CX 550's will be the top of the line options in 2010 for most consumers.  They have already removed the CX500v from the web site, so does this mean the CX550 is coming soon? Come on, anyone from Best Buy, do you plan to carry the 2010 Canon HF S line?

I apologize for the delay in my response to this post, but I wanted to get you an answer before posting here. I reached out to the team that arranges what cameras our stores or BestBuy.com offers for sale to our customers, and they have informed me that we should have the Sony TX7 point-and-shoot camera available for purchase from us soon.

Due to competitive advantage reasons I can't say exactly when, or how much we will be selling it for, but I can say that I would keep your eyes open since it should be available for purchase from us soon.

Sorry for the delay in this, but what specific products we will be offering for sale in the future is not always an easy thing to find out. Due to competative advantage reasons what we can share is often limited, but I do have some information for you.

I'll start with the bad news first. We don't plan on carrying the Canon HF S21 or HF S200 models.

We do plan on carrying the Canon HF S20 model camcorder on BestBuy.com, and possibly in select stores. I would suggest keeping your eyes open. This camcorder should be available for purchase from us in the relatively near future.
