I have an Olympus Stylus 840 with a fujifilm xd picture card M1GB. After taking only four pictures, the camera brings up a message that the memory is full. I don't think it's only saving on the memory of the camera because when I take out the card, those four pictures are not stored on the internal memory.
Both products were purchased at Best Buy. Any suggestions?

Is it a new memory card? If so, there might be software that came with the card, ON the card. This software might be taking up all the space.
Either copy the software off the card on your computer, or just format the card in your camera if you do not care about the software.

Aclarinet62,
It really does sound like the camera is set to record images to the internal memory. According to Olympus the message memory full means the internal memory is full, and if the memory card was full the camera should say card full. I would upload any images you have stored on the memory card and the internal memory to your computer, and then I would format both. Directions on how to format this camera can be found on page 34 of your camera manual and if you need a copy of your camera manual you could look here.

Hi SonoUnDio,
Memory cards should always be formatted with the camera they are intended to be used in.
