I have a Canon 35mm EOS Rebel G camera with a 300 zoom lens. I was looking into buying a new digital camera that is like my Canon. Doesn't have to be Canon. I was wondering if I would be able to use the same lens with the digital camera. Would anyone know?

You would only be able to use a Canon EOS lens with another Canon EOS body. You would be able to use it with any of the Canon EOS series digital SLR bodies (Rebel series, 40D, 50D, 5D, etc.)
You would need different glass if you were to choose a Nikon DSLR.

Hi AshleyMP07,
Entropy is entirely correct that you would need to go with a Canon DSLR camera body if you want to continue to use your 300mm EOS lens on your new camera. Canon DSLR cameras are very well respected, and if you would like to take a look at our selection you could look here.
Thanks for posting,
