Red, White, and Solar Powered?

Labor Day is a great excuse for a 3 day outdoor adventure. Like most patriotic weekends many families are probably camping. I mean real camping in a tent or camper with limited access to electricity, not ‘glamping’ with Wi-Fi in your backyard.

My husband has rightfully earned the nickname of Captain Plug-in due to his love of cameras, electronics, and the need to always be prepared. We’ve been using solar powered chargers for the last two years during day trips outside, and weekend camping excursions. I love the ability to be immersed in nature, but not having to limit my technology use.

Reducing our ecological footprint on the Earth is also super important too! Our next solar powered charger will be a Waka Waka Power+. Not only does it charge with the power from the sun, but it also donates one for each one that’s sold.

Waka Waka is able to ‘share the sun’ through a purchase, and the best part is you get to choose where in the world they’ll send one next!

Hmm.... what is it's capacity?  Website specs says 2200 milliampere hours.  What is that in mah?  Is that 2200mah?  That's a pretty small battery.  Won't be able to charge a tablet properly.
