Terrible Customer Service!!!!

In November 2016, I bought a TV with an installation (TV Connect & Set Up and TV Mounting).  However, when the Geek Squad Agent came to my house, the wall where I want to install it was a wet wall. Therefore, we did not proceed with the installation. I returned the bracket. The agent told me that he will cancel the installation and that I will get my money back. Well, that never happened. Even after I made several calls and spend over 3 hours on the phone. I was transfered from one department to another. It has been very frustrating. One agent, gave me back $99.99, but Best Buy still owns me $28.02. I know is not a lot of money, but I feel Best Buy should not treat its customers like this. Hopefully this Blog will help me get a satisfactory answer from BB. Order No. was {removed per forum guidelines}

I’m terribly sorry to hear about the issues you’ve endured with your home theater purchase. Under no circumstance do we ever want our customers to feel it’s their responsibility to do all of the legwork for a refund. If the services were not completed, you are absolutely entitled to get your money back. I’d be happy to review your purchase and make things right by you.

 

After reviewing your order and account, I see you have spoken with quite a few agents over the phone. I also see there is an escalation currently submitted for you as well to our back office support teams. I’m going to reach out to them and the individuals you spoke to gain a better understanding of what has been done and submitted so I know how to proceed. I will be sending you a private message within the 24 business hours so I can gather the necessary information.

 

Thank you for your tremendous patience towards all of this and rest assured I will do everything I can to make sure this gets resolved.

After reviewing your order and consulting with the agents you spoke with, I see you paid $99.99 for the set up service which has been returned. What item has yet to be refunded to you for the $28.02 value? I show you currently still have the LG TV which is the only thing we have not credited.

The installation and set up. The total amount charge was 128 and only 99 has been credited.
