I'm getting this as well and it's very frustrating. I change the password and verify I'm using the correct one. Sign out, attempt to sign in with the new password I just created and it's wrong again. I have to reset every single time I sign in.

Welcome to the Best Buy forums! Best Buy.com tries hard to protect all of our customers’ accounts, but I would have to agree if you are having to repeat the whole scenario you described every time you login, this loop seems excessive. Please accept my apologies for this, and I do have some recommendations.
Although I cannot promise any of these are full proof can you be sure to exit out of all Best Buy websites loaded on other devices, along with clearing out all your cache and cookie history. From there try loading up our website from another browser to see if this doesn’t solve the situation you are in.
