Wow! The same thing just happened to me. I ordered a microwave on sale. I got not notice that it was being shipped. I never heard anything else until I received a message that it was returned. There is zero possibility that anyone could have refused the package at my house as the customer sales rep. suggested. If I wanted to order again, it would cost me twice as much as what I paid. I just asked for the same price to reorder and I was denied.
This really sounds like a scam to me. I suspect BestBuy is trying to get out offering the sale price or maybe they ran out of merchandise. Wondering how many others experienced this. The person I spoke to on the phone from BB was very unhelpful and would not offer anyone else that I could speak with.

Welcome to the forum. I can imagine it was a shock when you realized your microwave had been returned to the Best Buy warehouse, and I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you.
After reviewing the tracking information UPS has noted that the receiver did not want the product. I recommend checking the tracking information you received when the item shipped and possibly contacting UPS to see who in your home refused the shipment. Also, the item your ordered is an open box item which are sold at a discount, regrettably this is why we are unable to ship you a new one at the discounted price.
I hope this clarifies things, and thank you for posting here on the forum.
