Promised for Refund but Never Received it for 8 Weeks!

Hello, 

 

I have purchased an Imac 27" on Bestbuy.com on Black Friday 2016, order number is {removed per forum guidelines}However, I could not wait so I purchased another one in store. After that, I called Bestbuy customer service about the cancellation of the one I purchased online. The representative simply told me just to refuse the item when it was delievered. On Nov 30, 2016, I refused and did not sign the package, courier had the package and would deliever back to the warehouse. Unfortunatelly, I was never received the refund for 3 weeks. I contacted customer service and was promised for refund, then waited for 2 weeks. Nothing happened. I contacted again, this time the representative told me that last representative did not really submit the request, and she said she would and gave the this useless refund number {removed per forum guidelines}. Again and again, I called customer service yesterday. The representative told me that no one has checked the item in warehouse yet, and promised that someone would contact me today. Guess what? Nothing Happened. 8 weeks after the purchase, I still have not received the refund. Really Bestbuy? Will be waiting for your reply, thanks.

Hello, I tried to contact Bestbuy by phone a couple times, and the issue is still not resolved by today, March 2nd, 2017. I really need your assistance, please help.

There's nothing more upsetting to me than not getting a refund promplty after I've made a return. I can only imagine your frustration at having waited so long without a resolution! I apologize for any inconvenience to you.

Michelle is my daughter's name that I used as the username for this account. I can provide you any identification to prove that I am the original purchaser. I have been trying to call 888-237-8289 for assistance, but they refused to issue the refund and told me that they could not find the returned item in their warehouse; furthermore, they told me that I shouldn't have returned in this way, but I was told to okay to return by refusing to accept the delivery by one of your customer services representatives!! I also tried to reach the courier's company but they wouldn't do anything unless Bestbuy requests on them. We really want to reach that courier that we asked him to refund the item to Bestbuy's warehouse and find out where now the item really is because certainly we do not have it or Bestbuy has it. We are so desperate in trying to get our refund back for four months, and it is lots of money especially for a low-income family. Has anyone experienced the similar situation in the forum? Please, please help.
