On March 9, 2018, I bought a Macbook from Bestbuy. I used my father's international credit card from Turkey. The order was cancelled immediately but my father's credit card was charged the amount, 1035$. I need to buy a new laptop asap, but I have to wait for the refund. So, I have 2 questions:
1) Will the money be automatically refunded and by when?
2) Does Bestbuy need to send a fax to my father's bank for the refund? Is that absolutely necessary?
I am very nervous because it's a large amount of money. Please help me. You can reach me at

Welcome to the forums!
I'm sorry to hear about the issue you've been facing with your cancelled order. But nothing to fear as once the order is cancelled a refund is automatically issued. In most instances a refund takes about 4 to 6 business days and is highly dependent on your banking institution. However, for an international bank this may take slightly longer and will also depend on how they process the refund and when they will credit it back to the account.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
