Lost Order #/E-mail Receipt

I pre-ordered the two Bayonetta amiibos set to release 07/21/17 on guest, but I can't find my email receipt. I don't know if it will be mailed or if it was an in-store pickup. I don't know the order number either. 

 

  • SKU: 5864100
  • SKU: 5433300

How do I get this information? I've made an account with the same email but information doesn't carry over. It only remembered what I was looking at weeks ago (the amiibo), not any orders. And I DO NOT want to call anyone over the phone.

And now I have a $17.76 charge for BEST BUY 0994 appear today, but I didn't purchase anything from Best Buy?!

Unknown Charge

I just made a Best Buy account today to inquire about a separate issue and checked my bank statement to find a $17.76 pending charge on my Debit Card but I did not order anything from Best Buy or go to a Best Buy location today. 

 

DEBIT CARD AUTHORIZATION BEST BUY 0994 R

 

I contacted my credit union and they confirmed it was a charge meaning if I didn't authorize it someone was committing fraud. How did this coincidentally happen the exact day I make a Best Buy account and inquire about a previous guest order? Is there any information to find about this charge?

Welcome to our forums! Most times I’m shopping online, I checkout as a guest rather than creating a profile on every site I visit. Like you, I’ve run into problems where my invoice isn’t emailed to me, or I don’t write down the order number, and then have to find a way to track it down. I know how frustrating this experience has been for me in the past, and I’m sorry to hear it’s one you’ve recently gone through.

 

Using the information you provided when registering to our forums, I see you did end up calling us at 1-888-BESTBUY, and they were able to get this sorted out for you. For future reference in case you run into this issue again, we’ve got a great Knowledge Base article that may help you obtain your receipt, should you ever lose it again.

 

In terms of the charge on your card, location 0994 is one of our internal locations that would show up on your statement if you place orders through BestBuy.com. Per our Pre-Order FAQs, your card would not be charged until your order ships, which may explain the recent charge on your card. A portion of your order was shipped, causing the charge on your card.
