Inquiry on Shipping

Hello Best Buy,

 

I have ordered a laptop on June 21st through the website and got the 2-Day-Shipping confirmation with my order. While expecting to receive the purchase on the designated address, the order is still "In Transit" almost a week after the scheduled delivery.

 

Would you please elaborate on the shipment delay? When should I expect to receive the purchase?

 

Note that I am an international customer currently located in Brazil, however, the shipment address is located in the USA. Being overseas also limits my phone contact options with both Best Buy and FedEx.

Welcome to the Best Buy forums, although we wish it were under better circumstances, but we could certainly understand why you would want an update for this order.  I hope I can be of assistance to you!

 

Using the order number you shared publicly, which had to be removed to protect your personal information, I was able to locate the order that has been shipped.  I can assure you this situation has been escalated to a support team to further investigate here at the corporate headquarters. 

 

I'm hoping to hear back from this team soon, and I will be sure to reply back as soon I hear anything from them.  Please know how thankful we are for your patience during this time, and should you need anything in the meantime, just let us know!

On 6/29 I received a reply back from the support team who told me that the package was on it's way to Texas, according to Fedex.  There was set to be an update to this on Friday, but this never occured.  FedEx is working on locating the package to confirm this information, as we speak.   

 

We will continue to work with this support team, alongside FedEx, to see what our next steps could look like. You will be kept up to speed with every update received, and we appreciate your patience until this package is physically located.

Hello,

 

I don't understand why the package would be sent to Texas. The shipping address is in Chicago, IL (Zip code 60654) and, according to the last FedEx update, my purchase arrived in Chicago on 07/23 at the FedEx location/facility. All that had to be done was to send the package to the correct address.

 

Since the original shipping was two days and I have already been waiting for an extra week pass the due date, please send a new package with the product purchased to the informed address as soon as possible. I will be traveling to Chicago from overseas soon and expect to have my purchase ready when I get there.

I want to apologize for any confusions about this package and its whereabouts.  Please understand the information being requested from my support team is being directly relayed from FedEx.  Until this package is located, there can be no modifications or reshippping for this order.  

 

I realize this isn't the response you were hoping to hear, but please allow this team to work with FedEx, and I hope to recieve an update from them here soon!

It is impossible to cancel my order after it's been shipped!! I need to cancel it immediately and have my money back in order to buy what I need elsewhere, since Best Buy can't locate the original package.

 

I am terribly disappointed, Best Buy was my number one option for shopping for electronics in the United States until this happened.

We have been in contact through our support teams trying to resolve this situation with FedEx, and I'm happy to say there was some progress made.  At this time we are waiting on FedEx to finish their claim process.  Once we hear back from this team, we should have some options available to you at that time.  I know we have been dealing with this for a long time, and I appreciate your patience while we wait for FedEx to finish their investigation.

I made a very expensive phone call from Brazil and cancelled the order. 

I would have never guessed Best Buy would be so desorganized.
