In-Store Pickup stuck on Processing

I've placed an order a few hours ago for in-store pickup with items that say 'Available Today' yet the order status is stuck on processing / order received and I am unsure if the items will be available before the store closes. I've called 1888Bestbuy and the customer service representative said it is going through verification and should be ready for pickup by tonight when I receive an email notification about it. The items also said it was "on display" for the store.

What I currently don't know is whether or not I should continue to wait or go to the store to purchase the item at the same price as I paid (if permissible) while I cancel the online order as it would be extremely faster than this online process. Any help would be appreciated with my order.

I plan to update if I don't receive a notification email about the store pickup by the end of the day.

Update: received the notification in email around 8:40. Will plan to pickup tomorrow morning.
