Fake advertising

I bought the Samsung s7 online. I was told it came with a free wireless charger, memory card and 100 gift card. I received the charger and memory card, the person in store told me I would get the gift card via email. I called and was told the store should have given it to me. Where is my gift card?

Re: Fake advertising

Hello Djw9127,

Thanks for signing up for an account with us here at the Best Buy Community forums. I’m sorry it has taken us so long to get back to you on this. We’ve been a bit busy lately and we aren’t able to respond quite as quickly to everyone as we’d like. I know how frustrating it can be when you don’t get part of an order that you were expecting.

Based on the information in your post and in your forum registration, it looks to me like your gift card should have been sent to you via email.  If you could do me a favor and check your junk mail and spam folders, I’d appreciate it. I’ve found that doing a search in your email for “Best Buy” can sometimes help.

If, after doing this, you still are unable to locate your gift card, please send me a private message using the link in my signature below containing your order number and the best email address to send the gift card to. Once I have that order number and email address, I’ll look into your order and see if I’m able to help out.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Sincerely,

Kyle R|Social Media Specialist | Best Buy® Corporate

To see the link you would need a desktop view of this website. You would see an orange envelope to send a message to the moderator below their post.
