Delayed Order!

Hello, 

Yesterday I ordered an Apple Pencil which was claimed to be delivered by Tue 27th (Today!). However I got an email that says my order is delayed and will take up to one month for it to be delivered! That's insane because I am leaving the United States on the 1st of March (Friday!) so there will simply be no one to pick up the order and my money will have to go to waste. Also, on top of that Best Buy won't allow me to cancel the order! Please help! What should I do?

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Best Buy forum regarding your situation.  It would be really frustrating to have an order delayed when you are on a time limit due to leaving the country!  I would be happy to do what I can to assist. 

 

Generally speaking, if someone is wanting to cancel their order, they may have a limited amount of time to do so.  Take a look at the link here from bestbuy.com about canceling an online order. Most orders placed for shipping begin processing within about 30 minutes of placing the order.  If you’ve already been unable to cancel the order, then it is likely already in a non-modifiable status.  I would be happy to take a further look at your order to see what options are available, though. For me to do that, can you please send me your order number and phone number for verification?  Please send that information in a private message by clicking on the blue “private message” button in my signature.

There's no need for that anymore! It's so weird, it just got delivered! I'm so glad it did.

I’m so glad that you received your Apple Pencil in time! It is quite strange that the order status wouldn’t have updated to let you know it had shipped and was out for delivery today. I’m very sorry for any stress that you’ve felt during this situation.  That being said, I hope you enjoy your new Apple Pencil and have a great trip out of the country this Friday!
