Paypal Refund

After some research I see that I'm not the only person who this has happened to.

 

I returned an item on september 29th, and I still haven't got my refund. The order page shows refund was processed on September 29. I emailed Paypal and they said they don't have any record, and asked for a transaction ID from bestbuy. I called the 800 number on the site and customer service told me it shows as completed and couldn't help me. I called the store I made the return to and they said that I should have got my refund by now, and weren't able to help any further.

 

I would like to get this resolved soon so i don't have to fild a dispute with Paypal.

PayPal Refund

I recently returned an apple watch one september 30 one day after purchasing it through the website using my paypal account that was linked to a debit card. I have yet to recieve the refund on 10/8/18. Please help. Here is the information:

Name: Jesus {removed per forum guidelines}

Date ordered 9/29/18 

Date picked up 9/30/18

Date returned 10/1/18

Store name West LA CA

Paypal Refund

I made a ship-to-store purchase using PayPal for a portable monitor for a total of $194.12. The monitor did not function as advertised and I returned it to the store on September 27th. My online status says the item is returned, but I haven't recieved my refund yet. Returned to the store on October 5th th to check on my refund and they told me to contact Paypal. Paypal says it hasn't recieved anything from Best buy. I just want my money back, it should never take a company as big as Best Buy over two weeks to refund a purchase.

Paypal Refund

I made a purchase online for store pick-up for a Samsung Chromebook Pro. I made the purchase using my paypal account. I returned the purchase the next day for a refund. 10 days later I am still waiting on a refund. I am reading tons of posts on the forum from people who waited more than a month for a refund to paypal. I called paypal and they said they do not see any return posted to my account or signs of one.

 

This is unacceptable.

Been 11 days and still no credit to PayPal. Contacted PayPal said they haven't received anything from Best Buy. Can I get some help please

PayPal Refund

I have spent all morning on the phone talking to Best Buy trying to figure out how to get my PayPal refund.  The end result, I got a reference number and was told that there is an issue with refunds from Best Buy to PayPal.  The agent claimed that Best Buy/PayPal are aware of the issue and are working to figure it out.  So while they try to do that I'm out ~$450.  At this point it's been over 2 weeks.  Does anyone have any experience with this and any idea when I should expect to actually recieve my money?  I wish I had known there was an issue earlier and I wouldn't have chosen to use PayPal for a payment.

Welcome to our community. I don't return many of my purchases, but when I do, I expect that the money I spent will be put back into my account as quickly as possible. PayPal's website states that refunds may take up to 30 days to appear back in your account depending on the card company involved, but I'd be happy to see if there's anything I can do to help expedite the process.
