I would like to change the credit card used on my pre-order. I pre-ordered: ESO: Morrowind Collectors Edition for PC and this item is not set to be released until June 6th. I had contacted your customer service department on the phone and they told me this could not be done. I find that to be unacceptable. I should be able to change the method of payment since it is still a couple of weeks before product is set to release. I want to change it from my debit card to my best buy credit card.

Given that your My Best Buy credit card should give you more points for your purchase, it’s understandable why you’d want to change your payment on your recent pre-order. I’m sorry to hear things didn’t go quite according to plan when calling us for assistance, so I appreciate you giving us a second chance to address your concerns.
While true that customers are limited to only being able to update their payment information through their BestBuy.com account when there’s a problem with their original method of payment on file, we should be able to do this on your behalf when calling us at 1-888-BestBuy. I’m not sure why we would have turned you away at the time of your recent call. However, I would suggest calling us again to speak with our Post Purchase Support team, as we are unable to do so through the forum.
