Placed an order for same day delivery and I just assumed it would be delivered today... So I hung around the house... all day... Order never arrived, in fact the order is still in "preparing". When I called to cancel the order I was told by customer support that I would have to wait till the order is delivered. Then I will have to drive it in to a local best buy to get a refund.
This is unacceptable! I am so upset at the service I received.
Best Buy's customer support is even worse. No one could help me and they said they couldn't transfer me to a supervisor.
I remember why I always shop at amazon, amazing delivery and even better customer support.
I assure you I will never shop at best buy again and I will tell everyone how professional the delivery service is.
Best Buy's same day delivery is awful. Never again! Never again!!

I ordered it at noon... waited around till 9PM nothing.
If there truly is a cut off, the website needs to state that.
When I called support all they said was "Do you really need it today?" I was furious. I hate when I pay for a specific service and they cannot meet their standards!
Same day delivery is a joke. I'm still upset and I cant cancel my order. I have to wait for the item to be delivered in a couple of days and then drive it in to get a refund!!! This defeats the whole purpose of delivery.
Best Buy is a joke. I will never shop at best buy again! Never!

I would be really frustrated, too, if my delivery was delayed when I expected delivery same day, so I’d be happy to take a look at your situation and hopefully shed some light.
I’m sorry to hear that you had a difficult time with the same day delivery option that is available in select areas. Thanks for your concerns about knowing the cut-off time for the same day delivery. As iHateSupport mentioned, it is 3 PM. If the same day delivery option is still available, you should see “Get it by TODAY” as an option during the checkout process. You can see more about Same Day Delivery by taking a peek at the informational page and FAQ.
Using your forum registration information I was able to see that you were able to speak to a customer service agent who assisted you with the delivery charges. If a product is already processing, it would not be in a status that is modifiable, which would be why they could not cancel the order. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
It appears that the product was successfully delivered on 1/7/17. If you were interested in returning the product, processing it in store may be the fastest way to go, but you could also take a look at the option of returning via mail. I order it at noon and waited around my house till 9PM. No delivery and no notification that my item would NOT be delivered that day. Then when you (Best Buy) could not fulfill your end of the bargin I still had to accept the package.
Also, you respond to a same day problem a week later saying "we are really busy" Then DONT OFFER SERVICES YOU CANT FULFILL!!!
You customer service, customer support, and website are terrible.
I will never shop at Best Buy again, truly.
