I ordered a PNY - XLR8 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card (3/4/18) and paid extra for shipping to get it 3/13/18 and when I went to check if it had shipped I was greeted with "This item has been delayed, but we are continuing to work on it. If we cannot complete your order by 04/11/2018, we will let you know and cancel the item."
What gives? I don't have a month to wait. I am absolutely distraught because I needed the part by tomorrow and I was guaranteed by one of your customer support agents that it would be here by 3/13. Please help.

Hello there MattMayfield-
Welcome to the Best Buy forums!
I’ve had my computer for a bit now and I’m thinking it might be time to upgrade my graphics card as well. However, with all the hubbub around Bitcoin, it certainly seems like prices have gone up and availability is scarce. I can see why you’d be concerned around receiving a notification stating your order is delayed, especially for potentially a whole month.
Occasionally, we do see these emails go out as an automated process when stock that is coming is doesn’t quite hit at the same time as delivery should occur. Usually what ends up happening is the order then ships slightly afterwards.
I’d be happy to take a look at your order if this isn’t the case. To do so, please send me a private message with your billing phone number and the BestBuy.com order number. You can send me a private message by logging into the forum and clicking on the button across from my signature on this post.
I hope this helps!
