trying desperately to track down online order receipt

I have literally made about 50 calls to Best Buy's customer service and have only gotten empty promises. I bought a laptop with warranty online in January 2008, lost the receipt, now my laptop broke and I can't take it in because I can't get anyone to get me a copy of the receipt! I've been told it's been archived and they will "send it to the correct department to fax or mail to me" and I keep waiting...and waiting....and waiting... it's not coming, and I desperately need that computer. I'm about to go out of town and would like to get it in beforehand. is there ANYONE who knows how I can go about doing this easier? These "online representatives" I keep talking to always have different answers, give me case numbers, and when I call back again another person says "oh they didn't do anything." UGH! PLEASE HELP.

Hey there fuzzylilbunnie -

 

I used my magical connections to get you your PSP number.  It was a bit more difficult due to it being a BestBuy.com order though.  Please see your private messages for more information.  You can check your private messages by first ensuring you are logged into the forums, then clicking the envelope in the upper right hand corner.
