paypal not WORKING

more than 24 hours and multiple attempts to order product from bestbuy.com using paypal, keep getting BLANK PAGE when it should be best buys confirmation page after switching back from paypal confirmation

 

Any ideas ?   Please Help

dont try calling BB customer service #  multiple calls and all I get is sales people without answers

Hi MrMarsh,

 

I’m not personally aware of any errors on BestBuy.com, but that doesn’t mean other customers aren’t encountering similar difficulties.  I’d be glad to notify our support team of the situation if you’d be willing to answer a few basic questions:

 

  • When did you first encounter this problem?
  • How are you accessing BestBuy.com, from a traditional computer or mobile device?
  • What web browser are you using? (ex: Firefox 11.0)
  • Have you tried using another web browser?
  • Have you received any specific error messages along with the blank page?
  • If so, what did those messages say?

 

The more information you’re able to provide the sooner we should be able to find a solution.  I’d also encourage you to notify PayPal customer support of the situation if you haven’t already done so – PayPal’s site may be redirecting you to an invalid page.

Been trying since April 05, 2011

 

  • How are you accessing BestBuy.com, from a traditional computer or mobile device?
  • Traditional Desktop
  • What web browser are you using? (ex: Firefox 11.0)
  • Have tried IE and FF, both latest versions
  • Have you tried using another web browser?
  • See Above
  • Have you received any specific error messages along with the blank page?
  • No , just blank page.   
  • If so, what did those messages say?
  • None

Also I have cleared all cookies and history multiple times.

I have spoken with paypal and they say the error is on best buy's site

I have used paypal and it works for other places without problems.

The many times I have called customer service # , the people I talk with say they know there is a problem but how they can say that without first actually checking ( no one stopped to say hey let me see and let you know, they just seemed to know) but they wanted to know what I wanted to order and how they could take other forms of payment.

 

Seems like someone could call tech for bestbuy.com and really see what the problem may be.

Seems like a lot of lost potential profit letting an income source sit broken

Just a guy trying to get a new mobile,, my old one is dead and need a replacement quickly

I had issues with Paypal this week too...but using eBay.

I post on these forums to help. I know that my advice may not be in line with what you believe is fair and just. YES, I do believe that there are employees and managers that are uninformed, difficult to work with...you name it. However, MOST are not like that.

continue to attempt...continue to fail
have been trying every 30-45 minutes.
even tried on different computers....with no luck
tried to buy something different to see if maybe it was the phone order causing a problem, nope, couldnt even buy an a/v cord.
but have used PP on ebay twice today, and once on another site without problems.
It seems that if my 16 y/o son has a PP acct. that he receives money through with out difficulty , a large company should be able to correct a small problem like this.
I dont have a problem with BB, just think more than 24 hours like this is frustrating

I used PayPal just recently and it worked fine for me. How about trying a different computer or device ?

have tried different systems, different browsers......

still getting blank best buy page when it takes me back to BB from PP

saw someone else on the board with the same problem but never saw a solution
