online purchase price dropped after receiving.

My first time here and also first purchase from best buy.

I purchased 2 seperate items in 2 seperate orders back on the 19th of Jan and have only received delivery of both items about a week ago now. As far as that is concerned I have had no problems at all. Very happy with the service I received.

My problem is with the price drop 1 week after my purchases. I had been watching the prices of both items and they went from $89.99 to $99.99 plus taxes which I missed out on due to available funds on my behalf. I now see a week later that the price of each item has dropped to $59.99 all prices at plus taxes.

That's a difference of $40.00 each.
My question is, is there anyway I can get a price match on my purchases for the difference now.
I don't know if it matters that these items were an online purchase or that they were a credit card purchase.
I have never come across this problem before as I have always bought my goods from a store in person and also have no idea of how to go about starting the question process. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank for that reply but i am in Australia, the phone call would cost me more than any refund I might receive. You see, I bought these as gifts and had them delivered directly to my nephews in Washington. Is there an any way I can conclude this via email.

A community connector might be able to, normal time for them to get back with you is 3-5 days

Hi billyray05, 

 

I just wanted to let you know that I've already taken care of you. I was able to pull up the 2 orders in question and have already applied a $43.60 credit to both orders. You should see that amount reflected back in your account within 3 to 5 business days, or however quickly your bank is able to process the funds.

Thank you Justin. I see the credit reflected back on my order status. I thank you and your team for being so efficient. I have had nothing but great service from my dealings with best buy. With all that said I would also like to thank the other contributors that gave me info to help me along with my queries. Thanks to all, everyone working together makes this a great team.
