I was given an iTunes gift card over a year ago. It was purchased from Best Buy. I tried to redeem it yesterday, but Apple tell me that it was cancelled. They confirmed that Best Buy had cancelled it and the purchase was reimbursed. However, this did not happen. Can you help me to get this card to work, please?

good luck. i sent in my first post on 2-4. i had purchased 125.00 in itunes cards. I went to redeem and it said they had been cancelled. i spent 2 weeks going back and forth b/t apple and best buy. Basically, after researching this problem i found out bb cancels our cards. Then they won't do anything about it. I am told this happens all the time. I went into my local store and the manager basically told me i didn't know how to do the redeeming process and i needed to bring my computer into the store and they could show me how to redeem the cards. I would never have believed to get this kind of service from bb. I have been a loyal customer and a silver premiere status member for a long time and it seems to no difference. No one has contacted me either. I have been trying to spread the word to people about how crappy bb is these days.

I am having an identical problem. I have a $15 itunes gift card I received as a gift. When I tried to redeem it, I was informed the card had been cancelled. When I contacted itunes, they searched the serial number and informed me this card had been purchased at a Best Buy, and Best Buy had subsequently refunded the purchase, so the card was cancelled. When I called the store where the transaction took place, they told me they are not allowed to refund itunes cards. I see this is a very common problem with itunes gift cards purchased at Best Buy. How do I get this issue resolved?
