Hi ramakandra, ashikenshin & Ldcedeno,
Whenever an order is placed on BestBuy.com, a hold may be placed on the paying debit/credit card for the order total. These funds aren’t collected until the order has been fulfilled, but this may have an effect on your available credit in the interim. If that order is later cancelled, Best Buy’s role in the transaction is complete and it’s the responsibility of the card’s issuing bank to remove any expired authorizations from the customer’s account. Many banks are able to do so within 2-5 business days, but some (including overseas banks) may require up to one full billing cycle:

If you have not already done so, I’d encourage each of you to contact the customer service hotline listed on the back of your cards for more information. I have confidence that phone support reps will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your accounts, as well as provide an overview of those companies’ processing times.
