backordered laptop

I ordered a laptop on december 17th and I know that is cutting it close to the holidays but I was told I would receive the item by he 22nd of december. Now the laptop has been backordered for two weeks and the worst part is there is no information regarding my order except that it is in the process of being filled and it should ship on 0 to 1 day. Its been that way for 2 weeks. I start school on wednesday and have no laptop to use and no idea when it might come and I can't even cancel my order. I don't feel like this is a good example of customer service.

This is probably the same laptop that was ordered for me on the 14th and guaranteed for Christmas delivery. Still no laptop and no one able to tell when one will be sent! At this rate, BBY really will be out of business soon and no matter how the CEO tries to spin it, he won't be able to.

Unfortunatly I would not hold my breath for recieving that laptop. I canceled my order as soon as it suddenly allowed me to, I tried to order again from their website, an almost identical machine and it said that shipping was not an option and it was not available in any stores. I called Best Buy and they said that the company will not be making any more of those laptops and it is just on the website still by chance. I would bet money that I would have recieved a message saying that they could not complete my order eventually, and you will too. I would cancel if you can, I ordered a very similar laptop from Amazon and it will be here Friday, and it was cheaper.
