I ordered a Sonim XP3 phone over 3 weeks ago. At the time, the phone appeared to be available. Later I received a backorder notice. The "expected delivery dates" have come and gone. Ive extended the backorder rather than drive the 2-3 hours (each way) it would take to reach the nearest location that "probably" has the phone in stock. The web site just says the product is backordered; and when I call, they cant tell me anything else. im getting frustrated at not having a phone for nearly a month. Had i known i would have to wait this long, i would have just bought a $100 phone from the service provider rather than spending $500 with best buy for a chance that i might eventually get a phone, maybe. Has anyone actually received one of these phones after ordering online? How long did it take?

strangely, after i posted, i checked the order status and it says my order is being filled and will arrive in 1-2 weeks. The status of the phone itself no longer says backordered and indicates that it will ship the next day (as it said when i ordered). Im glad i did not go to another store as the customer service people suggested. that for be at least 5-6 hours round trip for nothing.
