Friday, November 26 I ordered a Xbox 360 Holiday bundle online which was suppose to come with 2 games. The Two games are Forza Motorsport 3 and a full game downloadable token for Alan Wake. The next day I did an in-store pick-up but once I finally got home that evening I noticed the two game were not there. I checked the whole box and came up with nothing. The following day I called the store to see if I could come in and pick up the missing games and they basically told me the Holiday Bundle was sold out and I could return the Xbox 360 to the store and wait till they get some in stock but he didnt know when.
So I decided to call Best buy customer service to see if the had a better solution on this matter. I was hoping maybe they could just extend a store credit for the two missing games instead of me returning a console that has already been opened and set up. I really dont want to return the xbox since it is practically sold out and who knows when I might get another one. Basically all I got was a case number and told someone will contact me in the next couple of hours. I heard someone else had the same issue and they were issued a store credit for the missing games. Therefore, Im hoping the same will happen for me. I'm just dont want to go through all the hassle of returning the Xbox and waiting since it is a limited offer type thing. The store basically gave me a regular Xbox 360 minus the games. How can Best Buy be so careless.
