I can still buy this tv from other stores but I would prefer to purchase this tv from best buy. I've noticed that Best buy sold this TV previously.. but not now. Is there a particular reason why?

While I can't speak for why Best Buy doesn't have that particular model available, I did a little hunting and was able to find, what I feel to be, a comparable model. Check it out on bestbuy.com and search for 9293515. That should take you to the Samsung model number PN50B850Y1F.

I understand... I checked the specs and the only real difference I see is that the PN50B650 has two usb ports and the one you suggested has one. The problem is... there is a $350 difference between the two. $1150 is my budget - therefore unless someone can explain why this other tv is worth that much of a price increase AND then sell it to me at my budget stated above - then I can't buy it. I can buy the PN50B650 for $1,139.00 with shipping included. The tv you suggest is $1,489. thank you for your post. Althea

I was just trying to be helpful. You didn't specifiy any thing you were looking for in that particular model, so, I went off the major ones (screen size, 1080p, 600Htz, contrast ratio, and the availability of at least one port that the model you want had available. I'm going to keep looking to see if I can find something comparable in the price range you're wanting.

I know how it can be to have one specific item in mind, based on specs/price, etc, but be unable to find it, and how frustrating that can be.  To answer your question, you CAN buy this television from Best Buy®, however it is a deleted item, only carried in the stores that have remaining stock.  I was able to look up your local area, and it appears a few stores in the Texas area do have 1 or 2 of the item, and it might behoove you to contact them and see if they have one available for sale.  For reference, the sku you want to use is 9292794.
