Who are the vendors responsible for filling the Asus Transformer Prime orders? I want to know where the blame lies for being told for 3 weeks I would receive my shipment by 12/23/11 and on the 19th, the day of release, being told I will not be receiving my order. I was told both before and after placing my preorder Best Buy would have sufficient supply to fulfill orders. If this is not Best Buys fault whose is it? What is their contact information?

I don't think you follow me. I am trying to gather information pertaining to your vendors or buyers. Logistically speaking there are three tiers to a retail store. (I do know what I am talking about.) Tier one is the manufacturer. In this case Asus who you refereed me to in your previous post. The next teir would be Best Buys vendors, who order product for retail through Asus. The third teir are employees who work for Best Buy, typically refereed to as buyers. They are the ones who put in orders to vendors to fulfill retail stock. (Best Buy may employ vendors directly given the size of the company.)
To help you wrap your brain around it. What you gave me was a direct link to Asus. Asus does not work for Best Buy. How would Asus know if stock in a retail store is running low? How would Asus know about sales quantity.
Someone from Best Buy has to place these orders with the vendor to refresh shelves according to demand.
Who is it that placed the orders to Asus for the Transformer Prime?

Lets say for instants I'm not a consumer. Lets say I'm a reporter for KTTV. Lets say this was an Apple launch and every other retailer has received those Apple products. Newegg, Tigerdirect, Fry's Electronics, Walmart, but Best Buy has not.
Those retailers received their orders and I have already contacted Asus. They say their orders have been shipped as of last week. Logistically it lies with Best Buy.
Who at Best Buy would I contact?
The buck stops somewhere Crystal. Best Buy is saying it's with their vendors. Who you are saying is Asus. Asus is saying the product is shipped.
Why am I getting the runaround? Best Buy does not to fess up to their logistical error. Someone is to blame Crystal and no one wants to take that blame.

Hello BOFH,
We have been working with ASUS to fufill as many orders as quickly as possible, but due to inventory constraints beyond our control, many Prime tablets did not ship on the estimated release date. I see that since posting your order has been cancelled; I'm sorry that we weren't able to get you a Prime this Holiday.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Regards,
