I placed an order for the Freemotion - TT 30 Terrain Trainer Treadmill on 11/7 and I've received two emails saying that is on backorder. I have sent three emails asking for an ETA but no one has responded to any of my emails. I hope someone from BB will respond here. Not receiving a response to my previous inquiries is poor customer service.

If an item is on backorder, there is no telling when they will get anymore stock of them in. In that case you can cancel your order and place an order for a like item, or get a refund altogether. Alternatively Back Orders cancel themselves out after X amount of days if you do not do anything.

Thanks for your input. I figured as much but I'd still like a response to my inquiries. If they have no idea, I'd like to know. If it's going to be available in a week or two, I'd like to know that also.

Best Buy has this to say about Back Ordered merchandise:
If an item you've ordered is on backorder, we'll send you an e-mail to let you know the estimated arrival time. You can choose to wait for the item or cancel it. Backorders remain active for 30 days.
If after 30 days the item is still on backorder, we will automatically cancel the item. We will e-mail you 5 days before we cancel the item to ask if you would like to extend the backorder. At that time, you may extend the backorder by contacting us. Extension periods vary by product.
Best Buy does not charge your credit card until the item is shipped. If you used PayPal, your PayPal account was charged at the time you placed the order.
Backorders benefit from our online price guarantee. If the price drops at the time of shipment, you will automatically pay the lower price.

Would a Best Buy employee who monitors these boards please help me with this? I've tried calling twice, was on hold at least twenty minutes each time and both calls were then dropped.
I can find the backorder info and other general information myself on the BB website. I would like a response from a BB employee for my specific order.

Like hockeycanuckjc mentioned, it’d be difficult to determine when your order will ship if it’s on backorder. I’ve reached out to our warehouse support staff on your behalf though to see if they can shed some light on this situation.
