Re: What is your policy on child controls on store computers?

Hello Jillybeans24,

I am very sorry to read of the shocking experience you had at our Ft. Myers store! It was quite a surprise to me as well, to read that your son had found these types of images on the iPad he was looking at. While I’m not a mom myself, I can certainly understand your concern that this could be so easily accessible on one of our displays.

It is my understanding that our stores should have any device that can connect to the internet either unable to connect to the internet, or if it can, that the proxy settings should be blocking anything like this. If images like the ones you and your son found are discovered by an employee, they should be removed from the device immediately.

I have reached out to the store management regarding this first off to make sure they are aware of your experience, and to gather some additional details regarding it. Once I hear back from them, I will be sending you a private message here on the forum, which you can read by first verifying you are logged into our forum, and then clicking the envelope icon in the upper right corner of this page.

I appreciate your continued patience while I look into this with you.

Sincerely,
