What is the real processing time for a Laptop to be shipped from BestBuy.com ?

This is my first time ordering a laptop throught Bestbuy.com According to Best buy's shipping time it takes approximately 1 whole business day to complete the processing time and then ship to customer. Today is the 4th day and my order status still says PROCESSING... Did I read something wrong? I just wanted to know if anyone has ever had to wait this long for an order to process? someone please give your opinon and help me?

Well my opinion is that you read the words "1 business day" and assumed that 1 day is the maximum it should take, but failed to read the word "approximately" and realize that this means "on average" or "usually" and that "it could sometimes take longer."

But that's just my opinion.

Just hope you don't get burned by BB llike I did. Called, confirmed inventory and ordered for 2nd time on phone. Went backordered next day and got email i'd get it in 1 to 2 weeks. After waiting for a few weeks, I asked on the boards for someone to look into it. Well guess what. Canceled my order said item no longer available. Yeah right. they stopped making them.. dont think so. Be warey of bait & switch if they tell you it's out of stock and offer you something else. They tried w/ me and since I wouldn't take it, they canceled my $400 laptop cause tthey cant deliver them for that price.

Update: Day # 6-After having a gut feeling that something was not right with order I called best buy twice & to no surprise the phone system hung up on me & I couldn't get through to anyone. Hoping that someone would assure me that everything was ok, I emailed best buy & received an automated response the first time. Tried again and this time a real person responded "yay!" & I was right! I was told order must have taken 1 business day to process but due to unfortunate factors my order had been delayed. I was assured by Dannie :smileyhappy: to not worry, that I'd be getting my dell by the end of this week & my case would be transferred to the special order team by Dannie. 3 hours after I recieved the email, I get the news by BB through email that my order has shipped and will arrive at my door 4/13/12 . I am very happy and exited with my purchase... & I am sooo glad I did not have to wait sooo long for a delayed order. Blake in the other hand, did not respond to this inquiry.. I assume he has been busy trying to respond to others but it would have been nice to hear from him sooner. Anyway, Thank you Dannie!!! From BB .
