WARNING! lied to "about direct t.v." in Green Bay WI. Best Buy store

a week ago Iwas in Green Bay WI. Best Buy for a new bosch dishwasher. The store has a $150 dollar gift card you would receive if you purchased over $399 and signed up for direct tv.  The "slick" DTV sales person informed me not only would i receive the $150 gift card... but that they also broadcast in 1080p for there Hdtv.  The first thing this guy did is flat out lie to me and my fiance about the 1080p.. nope they dont have it.. The 2nd thing was he sold us the package below the min package to get the card, but told us we would get the card with this package. I called DTV and was informed that all the direct sales people are independant contractors and that they were actually trying to get out the contract or not going to renew there contract with this contractor because of how many complaints they got about there sales people. But and yes this is a big but.. they also said i was still responsible for the contract with them... for 2 years!  I have spent alot of money over the years at best buy.. and was planning on buying a new range and another new plasma this month for the house i just bought. Those purchases are on hold at the moment thanks to bestbuy and direct tv's not being able to manage there contractors and letting this kind of practices to go on. So just heads up about direct tv... and if you're  thinking about goin to the Green Bay Best Buy store... I would advise to go else where

It's very disheartening to hear that your experience with the DirecTV representatives at our Green Bay, WI store has caused you such inconveniences and I'm very sorry that this occurred. I can only imagine how irritated you were after this happened and I've documented your expressed views, so they may be seen by upper store management. Again, I sincerely apologize for any incovenience.
