It looks like I am not the only one having problems with Best Buy & HSBC . I have a no interest account I have been paying on, never late paid early, paid well over the min payment. Now I have a late fee. All I get from customer service is they have not received my payment. In over 30 years I have not had a payment lost in the mail. To add insult to this, after reading all the complaints online and here makes me disgusted with doing any business with Best Buy and HSBC. Makes me think payments are held past due date to get us to pay a $ 15 fee to do it by phone. Sounds like strong arm tactics instead of customer service. I was just planning to purchase more products for my computer and camera, I am just thankful this came up before I wasted any more money with them. I have been in customer service for over 32 years, was in a partnership in a small business and never had customer problems and complaints like this or of what I have read online and on this site. Makes a fool of me for doing business with them and makes best buy and HSBC look like a joke. All I could do was laugh at the customer service rep on the lame well rehearsed speech that they are so use to give for this problem. The last time I had a credit card issue with a company, I never shopped there again and that was over 20 years ago. And that was a minor issue with no late fees. Right is right and wrong is wrong. In marketing class was told to take care of customers because one unhappy customer can wipe out a million dollars of advertising in less than six months and drop companies stock even faster. So if I can`t get this corrected I may be that very unhappy customer. Best BUy and HSBC needs to look closer to all the complaints, with this economy companies can fail overnight if they lose customer trust ,let alone trust in their stocks. I am starting to distrust Best Buy it pays HSBC, so it has a lot of control over them, but maybe profiting from this problem also? So I can understand why I can`t seem to get it resolved. Now I have to waste time on a stop payment for the check they can`t seem to get and file complaints in all the various areas that regulate these two business.
If antone on here wishes to try and help, I would be very interested in any help i can get so I do not waste any more of my time.
