I recently placed an order, and only part of it has shipped. The tracking number i received for it can not be tracked through USPS's site. When I try to it tells me that it can not be tracked via usps.com. Is there another site I'm supposed to go to? Thanks.

The first item WAS shipped through USPS. Here is the tracking number BestBuy.com gave me:
000000D20358000244259
It does not work. The second item was shipped through UPS. And the tracking number for the second item DOES work. I called customer service after it had been shipped for over 24 hours, and all the rept old me was to wait a few more hours. I don't think the tracking number for USPS is valid at all due to the message I get.

What kind of an item are you expecting if you dont mind me asking?
You can try this site: http://www.packtrack.com/ and try a few carriers to see if the number takes.

Depending on if USPS has picked up the item, it may not show tracking information until it is en-route. The holiday week/weekend has slowed down some delivery services.

A gift card. I unbderstand shipping slows down during holidays. But I've never had usps's site tell me that an item can not be tracked via their website.
