They never brought my TV and are insisting they did!!

The title pretty much sums it up. I bought a $1500 tv (sharp quattro) in the store and they said they would have to deliver it because they don't keep TVs bigger than 40" in stock. Day before delivery they called and gave me a time window of 11-1. On delivery day I called at 4:30 because I was still waiting. Their response? The delvery man signed for it. But he didn't!!! There are security cameras everywhere, and the name of the person who "signed" that best buy gave me is not even someone who works at my building. After 3 hours of phone calls they just keep saying they will get back to me. Now it's late at night, I have no TV, am wondering if I'll ever see my $1500 again, and am just devastated. :smileysad: I though best buy was a safe bet but guess I was mistaken - what a huge disappointment.

It's a lie.  It's not true that they don't keep TVs larger than 40" in stores.  I got my 46 inch Aquos in a store, and my brother-in-law got his 55" Sony Bravia in a store.

 

How can a TV that big be missing?  The delivery man doesn't sign for it.  Whoever received the TV signed it.

The purchase of a brand-new TV is by no means a small investment, so I can imagine how frustrated you must feel!  Although I do not know why you would have experienced any difficulties working with our delivery warehouse, I apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered.
