Terrible Customer Service

I recently purchased a new dryer from Best Buy in Reyonldsburg OH.  Because I have been a long time customer of Best BUy (not any more) I even waited the week to get it delivered, which was longer than any one else in town.  The delivery people brought in the new dryer.  They had to disconnect the washer to set it up (it has a steam connection).  The were very quick about everything and turned the dryer on and said it would be ready to use in about 20 minutes.  Since that  was the case I put a load of laundry in the washer.  I went to do other things around the house when my daughter said that there was water leaking from the ceiling.  I rushed upstairs (laundry room is  on the second floor) and found water everywhere.  My carpet was soaked and water was pouring down my walls.  I found that the installers had removed the drain line to turn off the water but never put it back.  I had an entire washer full of water all over my house.  I called best buy customer service.  What a joke.  It should be called Customer inconvienence.  I was disconnected twice during transfers.  Then the agent I spoke to said she would send the installers back to finish the job.  I explained that wasn't the problem I had already put the drain line back and also turned the water on  which that hadn't done (good thing it didn't ruin all my clothes in just hot water) 

 

After a third call to customer service and requesting to speak to a supervisor I was transfered to the claims department.  I initiated a claim and was told I would hear from an adjuster.  I called back later that day to also tell them my washer would now not work (probably from all the water ) but was told they couldn't access the claim since it hadnt been 24 hours yet.  I called the next day spoke to the claims person who said he would call the delivery company and have them call me immediatly since they like to get involved right away.  It is now 3 days later still no calls and when I call back the direct number I was given I get voice mail.   I have extensive damage and am still trying to get my carpet dried out.  I have water stains all over the lower floor including on a ceiling that was just painted.  I don't know the extent of the damage yet but since it looks like Best Buy doenst respond I will have to foot the bill then seek legal council.

I was sorry you have to deal with this issue and am beginning to wonder if ANYBODY in this community EVER gets anything resolved to their satisfaction...from what I have been reading here, apparently not often.

Thanks...I am also beginning to wonder if anything happens from this.  I think Best Buy has changed their attitiude towards customer service and now feels once they get your money they are done with you.
