So I made the mistake of shopping with you on black friday. Low and behold plastered all over your website at the time was banners stating improved service to APO mail. Well I placed my order, not being allowed to choose anything but the "free" shipping you were giving out on the holiday. I would have gladly paid the expensive priority mail price had I known this shipping was surface... So after your week of processing my order, and several more of not receiving I call customer service to find out you have shipped surface... so that means I will finally receive my item maybe sometime in February, and I doubt it will be in working order. What improvement did you make? You saw full well my address was an APO, it is not like that was hidden, nor did you give me the option to choose a different shipping method... If I could I would cancel my order and never log back in to your site. But as it stands I am probably going to have to return the item to you for repair once it gets here. Nothing sent to APO via surface survives.
So thank you so much for your forced "free" shipping and drastically "improved" mailing to APO... if this is improved I would hate to see what it was like before.

FYI, Amazon ships everything via priority mail to APO addresses. My husband receives his orders within 7 days when he orders from them... not business days, within one week. They usually ship the orders out same day or the next day.

Hello LostGeographer-
I apologize for the delay in my response and I appreciate your patience.
I am sorry if our APO shipping methods have left you feeling disappointed in us. We do our best to get those items sent out as quickly as possible and we strive to use carriers that will be able to deliver those items in a timely manner.
I was able to locate your order using your email address and I see that it was delivered to the APO on 12/14/11. I know that it can take 30-45 days from there depending on the item. Have you received this yet? If you need further assistance please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Respectfully,

I'm in the same boat, only I saw the same banner on the webpage and ordered a car stereo on November 24th. I still have not gotten it. I just hope it gets here before we PCS. I called customer service and they said they had now idea what the problem was and to send corporate an email which I did. The APO/FPO shipping information is wrong. I checked with my military post office and was told to allow at least 8 weeks for it to get here since Best Buy shipped it space available mail. I will never shop at Best Buy again. I don't like being mislead or lied to, but the kicker was when I called they were very rude to me, and didn't seem to see where the problem was. I suggest we all should keep emailing them till they get this fixed. Either start shipping priority or take the bettershipping time off the website, even if you go into the APO/FPO shipping info page it says up to 30 days. At this point I'd be happy with 30 days, and that has come and gone.

Same here! I ordered a camera on November 30th and have gotten every run around they could possibly give me. Supposedly I will get my camera on Jan 9th. SUPPOSEDLY. I say supposedly because I have been given 5 different stories now, hung up on at least 5 times, and still no product. I am wondering if they will ever give me my money back if i dont receive the camera. It was $600 afterall. I'll buy on the German economy from now on. And when I get back to the states Best Buy will never on my life get my money back. In a month I am ordering a new laptop for myself and a netbook for my son. It looks like best buy wont be getting my money for those either.
I ordered from best buy because I too saw those banners " New and Improved shipping to APO/FPO " Scammers! Bah!

Yep I'm seeing a pattern... I'm still waiting for a couple of laptops ordered on Cyber Monday... They were Christmas presents for my kids. Had I had the choice for priorty I would have been extremely pleased in paying for it.
Some service for us Service Memebers overseas. One would think that an advertisment would stand on it's merit. Hate to think what shippingtimes were like before this "Improved Program"
