I tried visiting the BestBuy.com website earlier, and was instead taken to this page, offering me a $1000 Best Buy gift card if I fill out the information: http://track.prize-wave.com/RegistrationPage.aspx?g=a1e2f7808fc0463c819813f1f515456a&se=03

Seeing as "Best Buy" was nowhere in the website's URL, and seeing as I was being offered a $1000 gift card for no apparent reason, I became suspicious, and did not fill out the information.

I just thought I'd share the link, in case someone/something is running around the internet advertising under your company's name. I also want to make sure people don't fall for this potential scam and end up with an email and voicemail box full of spam.

There's literally hundreds of these, for literally every large company in existence. Just be smart and use your common sense. If it's too good to be true, it's false.
